So a rainy Wednesday night and impatient starving bellies landed us at Pub Dog this week, where there were several unexpected treats! The Cajun Dog was an awesomely spicy personal pizza that didn’t disappoint. From the overflow cheesy goodness to the perfect blend of onion and slice this was by far one of the better specialty pizzas I’ve had in a long time. As far as setting goes while it was a tight fit the staff provided outstanding service from the moment we walked in the door to the complimentary “Happy Wednesday” shot of Grand Marnier as we were leaving. I would definitely frequent this spot for my pizza needs in the future. I give them a 5 out of 5 fork rating 🍴🍴🍴🍴🍴 – KENDRA
Have you ever been so HANGRY and irritated that you wanted to snatch food out of people’s mouths as they walked by? Just pounce on them like some wild animal, mouth frothing with saliva steal their food and run off into the wilderness with whatever meal they had? Well, that’s how I was feeling. It didn’t help the situation that our original destination was crowded. However, a quick Google search solved that problem. My attitude went from blood-lust to reaching Nirvana with a pizza and beer from Pub Dog Pizza and Drafthouse. The place reminded me of the average “hole-in-the-wall” bar with above average service. The staff at Pub Dog was AWESOME! Upon entering the bar til the time we left, our servers made sure we had all we needed. Our food came fast, which was probably due to the fact that there wasn’t crowd. I ordered the ” Dog Pound Pizza” which is essentially a meat lovers pizza topped with pepperoni, bacon, sausage and grilled chicken. It was delicious! The meal was made better with Pub Dog’s own Spring Lager which is a very light pale beer. I’ve had pale ale’s before and this one was light on the pale flavor, which was a good thing because it didn’t take away from my pizza.
I definitely recommend Pub Dog! – JON
