KENDRA – Our mission was to have an overall exceptional movie & dining experience boxed into one. What we got during our trip to Cinebistro was so much more!
As we embarked on our journey to commemorate Hugh dawning the claws as Wolverine aka Logan for the last time, we wanted to make sure it was a real cinematic experience. That desire landed us at Cinebistro.
Everything from the friendly seat side service staff to the perfectly selected menu makes Cinebistro the quintessential adult moving going experience! You can partake in an adult beverage and/or order from a pretty extensive menu which offers items such as Korean BBQ wings, that practically falls off the bone.
The set up was perfect for watching one of the best films I’ve seen in some time, Logan. Now, as an avid X Men/ Wolverine fan I knew I’d love the film, I just had no idea how much. Without including spoilers I’d have to say Logan is what I wish X-Men movies would be….consistent! The pace, the storyline, and casting were all on point. The ebb and flow will make you laugh and cry. Daphne Keen was an exceptional k -23 / Laura and while she doesn’t talk for 85% of the film she makes her presence known.
I would have the say the overall experience was a 5/5 forks but of course, Logan gets 10 stars for me!
JON – Cinebistro, while new to Baltimore, lives up to the hype. From the moment you step into the theater, you are treated like royalty. I felt like the Prince of Zamunda minus the bath.
Every employee you encounter greats you with a smile and ask if there is anything they can help you with. We were treated so well upon entering, I thought someone was going to come out from the back and throw rose petals at our feet.
Upon entering the theater, the wait staff shows you to your seat and immediately takes your food and drink order to make sure you have everything before the movie starts. In order to take advantage of the menu, you’ll have to arrive 30 minutes prior to showtime. If you have trouble getting to places EARLY, don’t even bother going to CineBistro. Just don’t! I hate when I get to a movie late and it really annoys me when I see people arrive 20 minutes after the start of the movie. WHY BOTHER!?! You pretty much just wasted your money! Just drive back home, heat some TV dinners and watch a bootleg version of the movie.
Speaking of TV dinners, the food at CineBistro is AWESOME! I had the one of CineBistro’s featured items, the Shrimp Mac & Cheese. So damn good, I had a mouthgasm! I’ll go on record as saying that this is the BEST Shrimp Mac & Cheese I have had. All the spots that I have been too pale in comparison. Kudos to the chef!!!
To get the full CineBistro experience, don’t go and just order popcorn and a soda, with the cost of tickets, it’s just a waste of money.
Overall, the experience was A+. The only negative I could come away with was that, despite the tons of wait staff walking around helping, there wasn’t a bathroom attendant. Yeah, I got spoiled by all the service. LOL
Shout out to Norraine, Edwin, Shanar and the rest of the CineBistro staff!
